Before & After Dining Chairs!

I have missed the blog world so much the past few days!

My internet suddenly went kaput and I have been

dying to show you this before and after!

I acquired these dining chairs by default...

No one else wanted them so I got them.

For FREE!

After recovering them once, they still weren't quite where

I wanted them.  The wood was too "cherry" for me.

So I busted out the ol' spray paint.

And went to town!

I primed them first with Krylon white primer.

Then said a few choice words when the

"painting quilt" fell on the first chair...

Then spray painted them with Krylon Bright White.

While the paint was drying I cut my fabric and

re-covered the seats with some taupe muslin fabric.

Got the seats back on the frame and...

Look at those sweet little Queen Ann's feet!

While I was in Marietta this weekend my mom and I

stumbled upon a HUGE yard sale being put on by

one of the local boy scout troops!

It was after 3:00 P.M. and the charity trucks had just arrived

to pick up any remaining items, so needless to say the prices

dropped and there was a TON of furniture leftover!

Lucky for me!

I can't wait to share with y'all all the goodies I found...

Mostly furniture that needs some TLC :)
