Recipe via Betty Crocker®
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups Bisquick mix
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup firm butter or margarine
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup dark corn syrup {I used light corn syrup instead}
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted, cooled
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips {I used the mini kind}
- 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
Instructions:
Pre-heat oven to 350º F. In a medium bowl, mix Bisquick mix and powdered sugar.
Cut in firm butter, using a pastry blender, until crumbly.
Press firmly in the bottom of a 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Bake 15 minutes; Cool.
In a large bowl, beat eggs, corn syrup, melted butter and vanilla with spoon until smooth.
Stir in chocolate chips and pecans {I even added some Heath Bar crumbles!}.
Pour over crust. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown & set.
Refrigerate at least 2 hours until chocolate is firm. For bars, cut into 6 rows by 6 rows.
Enjoy!
