Prayers Needed

Sorry for the absence in blog posts, but between work and the recent destruction in our
state I haven't had much time or energy for posts.  Our beautiful state has been destroyed
in so many areas.  I can't even begin to describe the damage across our state.  It brings me to tears.

As many of you have probably heard, the city of Tuscaloosa was one of the main areas that
was hit by the recent tornadoes in the South.  It's absolutely horrible.  The destruction is
unreal and the fact that a place I called my home for four years is sitting in rubble is devastating.

Luckily, the city I live in now was not affected by the tornadoes that hit our state,
although I cannot say the same for so many of the cities that were left in ruins.

Here is a video of the tornado hitting Tuscaloosa:

To get an idea of the tornado damage in Tuscaloosa, just google "Tuscaloosa tornado damage."
The thing is, the damage you see in those photos doesn't even begin to cut the surface.
Tuscaloosa, and our entire state needs your prayers.

You might wonder why I said in the first paragraph that I hadn't been blogging much
because of the storm damage in our state - Well, I work for the Governor of the State of Alabama.
And needless to say this past week has been quite busy, hectic, heart breaking and stressful.
I know this post is quite scatter-brained, but I have a hard time expressing the damage that
our state is sitting in right now.  Please send prayers to the people affected by this horrible tragedy.
