Revived Thrift Dress!

Remember my post from yesterday?
Well, I got down to business right away to revamp this bad boy and make it a bit more a lot more me!

This was how the dress started out:

That funky pattern on the bottom had to go!
Whoa buddy!  Look at that giant arm hole!

I tried the dress on to see how I needed to mend it...but the picture was far too embarrassing to post!
I looked like I aged 50 years, gained 400 lbs and tended to 546 cats. You got that mental picture?
So, I decided to bear myself (and you) the humiliation :)

Snip snip here...Snip snip there...And...

Voila!  I took it in on the sides, made the arm holes smaller and made them more into semi-cap sleeves.
And I obviously cut the bottom off quite a bit - got rid of that hideous pattern!

Here's the back of the dress.  I was tickled when I saw it had those little pintucks on the back as well!

As soon as I have a chance to wear it I will make sure to post pictures of how it looks on me!

So, let's look at this again...

Do you have any clothing you've revitalized recently?  Do share!
And if you have pictures thats even better!  I'd love to hear from you!

Have a Happy Monday!
