My new clothing obsession is Zara.  I could browse their online shop all. day. long.

And since they don't have a physical store where I live, that's what I've resorted to.

Skimp or Splurge: Kate Spade

My favorite article of clothing is a Kate Spade dress that I splurged on while in San Francisco

last year.  I actually did my very first blog post on that dress.  Ever since I got my hands on

that dress I have been head over heels for all things Kate Spade - but since her products

aren't my bank account's favorite I thought I would do a skimp or splurge on a KS outfit!

The Splurge:

Solid Lola Dress - $325

Karolina Pumps - $298

Shimmer Triple Chain Necklace -$195

Dot To Dot Stud Earrings - $45

Total = $863

The Skimp:

1. Zara Tulip Skirt Dress - $89.90

2. Modcloth Highlight-her Necklace - $23.99

First Impressions

The first impression of your home on the inside is the entry way.

You want to make this space inviting and warm.  So in my search to make my

new entry way inviting I came across a few foyers that really caught my eye!

The big 2-5

Come Tuesday I will be 25 years old.

I've heard a lot of my friends say that it's that age when you realize that

you're in your mid-twenties and you're half-way to the ripe old age of 30 (I kid).

Honestly, age to me is just a number and I am welcoming it with open arms. I'm headed to

my hometown of Marietta, Georgia this weekend to spend time with my family and do a

little much needed birthday shopping - Montgomery doesn't have too much shopping to

offer...No Anthro, J. Crew or Pottery Barn!  I know.  The horror - the horror!

feel the most relaxed.  It's the place you want to feel the most comfortable & at home.

New digs

As promised, here are a few pictures of my new place.  This is before we actually

moved in, but the clean slate gives you an idea of what I have to work with.  As soon

as I can get completely settled (will that ever happen?) then I will post photos of the decor :)

My new home is a loft located in the historic district of Montgomery, called Cloverdale.

The loft sits above a group of shops, boutiques and restaurants and I am quickly falling in

love with my new digs.  Can you blame me though?  Take a look inside my new home...

Although, every time I get done unpacking one space it seems the boxes multiply

while I don't have my eye on them.  Those sneaky boxes.  I'll catch them one day ;)
