Since I had to get to work this morning at 6:30, needless to say I'm exhausted.

So, I don't have too many words to say to y'all.  Hopefully I'll be more awake tomorrow.

There are BIG things going on in my world.  Big things people.  The next few weeks

are going to be a bit crazy.  So I'll go ahead and apologize for the sporadic posting.

I have been offered a position in Montgomery, Alabama (about 3 hours south of where

I live now) and the boyfriend and I will finally be living in the same city!  Wahoooooo!

So, what does this mean?

I put in my two weeks notice at my current job today.

I will be packing up my entire life in boxes over the next two weeks.

I'll probably stress out a little.  Maybe even cry.

But I am over the moon excited!

So get ready for some random posts and updates on my move to our state's capital!

Oh. my. gosh.  It was so cold outside during these photos.  I'm just not a cold weather gal.

I am dreaming of the day when we reach weather in the 60s!  Oh, wait...We had weather

in the 60s last weekend.  And then it snowed last night.  I don't get it.  I just don't get it.

Dearest Winter,

I am getting tired of your shinanigans.  You make shaving my legs in the morning pointless

since by the time I get to my car I have chill bumps all over me.  In order to fully get over

your ridiculousness I am wearing spring colors.  That's right.  You can't stop me.  I refuse

to have you rain on my parade.  But if you do decide to rain, could we at least make it

during my non-photo shoot outside hours?  I really don't want a repeat of Tuesday.

One in a million (or 30)

I am so excited about this 30 for 30!  This will be my second one and I feel like

I'm more prepared for this one.  Like I'm ready to take more chances with my

remixes.  I'm ready to mix patterns and colors like I never have before!  Okay,

I think I'm getting a little carried away.  Anyways, since it was pouring rain today

I took my pictures under the awning at work.  Where everyone could pass by me.

And I've gotten to the point that if people want to stare at me taking pictures, well,

that's fine with me.  They're just jealous of my fantastic floral skirt.  As they should be ;)

The second I saw these necklaces I fell.  Hard.  I swoon.  I die.

Seriously, could these get any more adorable?  I think not.

Montgomery: Part 2

The inauguration began after a two hour parade with many organizations

and schools across the state participating.  I was so happy I had a reserved

seat during this portion of the day - my feet would have been killing me otherwise!

We were relived that the weather man was incorrect - it turned out to

be a beautiful sunny day with just a few clouds!  The weather was perfect!

We took a private tour (aka - the boyfriend walked us around) of the capital.

This was my favorite part...

This is the dome of the capital building.  Isn't it amazing?

I could stare at it for hours on end.  Ahhhh....

My mom and I decided to head out to a little area of Montgomery known

as Cloverdale.  They have the most adorable little shops, cottage homes

and an uh-mazing church.  Just take a look for yourself...

Gorgeous, right?  The pictures really don't do it justice.

The best part is that this church is tucked in a little wooded neighborhood.

I would love to be able to walk out my front door and see this gorgeous piece

of architecture right down the street from me.  I wish y'all could have been there!

Now, I'm hoping I can post some pictures from the Inaugural Ball...

I'm just waiting on my mom to send them to me...Ahem ahem.
