Two Decades

Shirt - J. Crew
Corduroy pants - J. Crew
Headband - handmade by yours truly
Earrings - Anthropologie
Scarf - market in Italy

So, I'm two-thirds the way through the 30 for 30 challenge and today was the
first time I stood in front of my 30 items and almost said, "I have nothing to wear."
Almost, people.  I toughed it out and thought to myself, "What can I wear that
is going to allow me to eat as much as possible at our office potluck lunch?"

And ta-da.  This is what I came up with.  I really like it.  It was comfortable
and I felt casual chic.  Have you noticed I've been on a head band kick (here, too)?
And I promise a hair tutorial is coming.  I'm just working up my nerve.  It may take a bit.

My Christmas Wish List

So, this is it people.  My Christmas list.  I know.  Try not to get too excited.
I know you've all been stressing out about what to get me for Christmas.
But no need to worry.  It's all right here in this neatly prepared list.

Seriously though, this is the same list I sent my mom.
You might say I'm a little anal-retentive.  I call it organized.
I have mostly clothing items since I have stock-piled lists of things
I want since starting the 30 for 30 challenge.  I stuck with the rules though.

Plus, every good Christmas list needs a pretty header and appropriately tagged items.
What's on your holiday list?  Do we have any of the same items?

Stripes & Knee Socks

Dress - Nordstrom
Top - American Eagle (similar here)
Boots - Steve Madden
Tights - Nordstrom
Necklace - Target (I think?)
Earrings - Anthropologie
Knee Socks - Target

It definitely wasn't as cold today as the past few days - which is good because I'm
not a fan of harsh winds that make your eyes water so much your mascara is running
down your face.  It's just not a good look on me.  What is a good look?  These knee
high socks.  I have to say I was skeptical at first.  I didn't know If I could pull it off.
But I have to say I really like them.  They add an extra element to the outfit :)
And since my outfit was different neutrals I decided to go with a pop of color on my lips.
You're welcome America.

Loss for Words

Pants - Gap
Blouse - Banana Republic
Cardigan - Forever 21 (also worn here)
Socks - Target
Earrings - Vintage
Headband - J. Crew
Coat - J. Crew

I felt so prissy and sweet in this outfit - especially with the bow on the headband.
But it was far too cold out to even bear taking my coat off.  I told you, I'm a wimp.
Just take a look at the crazy icicles behind me!  That actually happened due to
the fact that the automatic sprinklers at work were left on...Totally not my department.
Thank goodness.  Believe me, you wouldn't want me in charge of a sprinkler system.

And this was the excitement I felt when I first saw the icicles...

High Kicks

Sweater Dress - Purchased in London a few years ago
Boots - Steve Madden
Tights - DKNY via Marshall's
Necklace - World Market
Earrings - Anthropologie

So, I've been trying to grow my bangs out for a bit now.  But I have a dilemma.
I just haven't not had bangs in so long that now that they are growing out I feel
like my face looks funny.  Like my bangs help shape my face a bit more. And
I especially love wearing my hair in a ponytail with those cute bangs adding
a silhouette around my face.  What's a girl to do?  This is a hard-hitting issue people.

I want a thicker bang look, possibly like this:

To cut my bangs or not to cut my bangs?
I think I know what I should do :)

By the way, I'll be doing a post soon of out-takes from my 30 for 30
photo sessions and wanted to give you guys a taste of what's to come...

If you're around me long enough you'll soon see that I can't control
my laughter.  It just happens.  And when it gets bad - I snort.
See?  Now we know each other better.  I already feel like we're closer :)
